About Insights

Insights is the editorial platform of the Global Diplomacy Forum, created for students who want to better understand the United Nations, international affairs and the ideas that shape global decision-making. It is designed to make complex subjects more accessible, practical and relevant to young people engaging with the world around them.

Alongside exploring the workings of the United Nations, Insights looks at the skills and thinking behind Model United Nations — from research, country positions and foreign policy to negotiation, public speaking, committee strategy and global affairs. The aim is to help delegates prepare better, think more critically and approach international issues with greater confidence and understanding.

More broadly, Insights introduces readers to the world of diplomacy, negotiation, public speaking and international relations, helping them develop skills and perspectives that extend well beyond the committee room.
