Global Diplomacy Forum (GDF) is an international organisation that creates opportunities for students and emerging leaders to engage with diplomacy, international affairs, and global cooperation.

We bring together participants from different countries, cultures, and academic backgrounds to exchange perspectives, examine global challenges, and understand how diplomacy works beyond textbooks and headlines.

At GDF, we believe meaningful international engagement begins with curiosity, informed discussion, and the willingness to understand perspectives beyond our own. Our programmes are designed to help participants turn that understanding into practical skills through discussion, negotiation, collaboration, and decision-making.

Whether through Model United Nations, diplomatic simulations, policy forums, workshops, or other international initiatives, GDF provides a platform for young people to take global affairs seriously and find their place within them.

Our mission is to make diplomacy and international affairs more accessible to the next generation.

We aim to give students the knowledge, exposure, and practical experience needed to understand international issues and engage with them thoughtfully. Rather than treating diplomacy as something reserved for governments and institutions, GDF introduces participants to the ideas, processes, and challenges that shape relations between countries and communities.

We encourage independent thinking, respectful disagreement, and informed participation so that students leave our programmes with a stronger understanding of both the world and their ability to contribute to it.

Our Approach

GDF is built around participation.

Our programmes place students in situations where they must research, speak, listen, negotiate, question assumptions, and work with others to reach common ground. Participants may represent a country in a diplomatic simulation, develop responses to an international challenge, discuss policy with peers, or engage directly with experts and practitioners.

The focus is not simply on delivering speeches or winning debates. It is on learning how interests are balanced, how decisions are shaped, and how constructive dialogue can move difficult conversations forward.

This approach helps participants develop skills that extend well beyond conferences, including critical thinking, communication, negotiation, teamwork, and confidence in unfamiliar environments.
